Best PracticesAs we continue to battle with Covid – 19 we are also dealing with uncertainties like when will the lockdown come to an end? When will we return to our normal life? Will this be our new normal forever? As we all know none of us have got the answers.
We are gradually returning to the activities that paused when the pandemic began. With the virus still spreading, it is important for everyone to continue social distancing.
As companies prepare to reopen the offices, it is possible to some extent to bring back the pre-Covid-19 era by implementing precautionary measures, for example- setting up a social distancing software.
Social distancing also known as “physical distancing” means keeping a distance of at least 2 arms’ length from others who are not from your household in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Social distancing system along with the combination of other precautionary measures like wearing masks, washing hands, etc., should be followed in all places where people tend to gather in huge numbers like workplace, grocery store, etc.
Covid – 19 spreads when mucus containing the virus gets into the body through eyes, nose, mouth or even hands.
When someone coughs or sneezes, they spray small droplets through their nose and mouth which may contain the virus. If you are too close you may breathe in the droplets along with the virus if the person coughing has the disease, even if they do not feel sick.
Hence social distancing aims in minimizing close contact with people thereby limiting the spread of virus among the people.

If not, the device would make voice alerts and also indicates the violator in the monitor.
